Circles Outreach Worker:
Your natural ability to make connections with people, and to motivate and inspire them to achieve positive results will serve you well as our new Circles Outreach Worker. You will have a significant impact on helping families progress in their established goals by performing ongoing case management and referral services. Each day will be full of opportunities to interact with others as you develop strong relationships with our Circles program participants and external partnerships. We are Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership (OWCAP), and we are searching for a Circles Outreach Worker to ensure our program participants are connected to the appropriate community resources.
What you’ll need to be our Circles Outreach Worker:
- A multi-tasking, socially poised and motivating team builder
- A problem solver with a positive response to pressure
- Natural ability to quickly connect with others and engage their commitment
- High School completion
- Two years of experience working in a team setting
- Experience working with low-income families, community services, or for a nonprofit organization preferred
- Experience with outreach/recruiting preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Additional education may be substituted for experience or a combination of both is applicable to meet requirements to be hired

What you’ll do as the Circles Outreach Worker:
- Responsible for recruitment of partners, volunteers, allies, participants, and donors for Circles.
- Seek out individuals, organizations, and businesses to provide meals, donations, and/or food items to prepare meals at Circles weekly meetings.
- Seek out and develop partnerships with organizations in the community according to a plan developed with the Circles staff.
- Engage the community to support Circles through recruiting, advertising, social media engagement, and other forms of outreach.
- Help create and organize meeting agendas, rolls, name tags, directional flyers, certificates, thank you cards, newsletters and other materials as needed. Responsible for creating and sharing Circles newsletter.
