Women In Business Luncheon

If you would still like to attend, walk-ins are acceptable. Cash or card is accepted at the door.

Join the Ogden-Weber Chamber Women in Business Committee to hear Debbie Williams from Timeless Medical Spa, 2017 ATHENA Nominee and one of the founders of NUHOPE.

Debbie will share insights on the importance of recognizing the signs of suicide and sharing resources available in our community through NUHOPE and QPR Institute. Please join us as the Women in Business Committee provides a space to learn, become aware and educate ourselves on this all too often quiet subject. Debbie has spent the better part of her life giving back to others. Serving on a countless number of boards, committees and associations to make this community a better place, to open up the dialogue and have a deeper understanding of the difficult subjects.

Suicide Prevention in Northern Utah:
The Northern Utah Hope task force is an active coalition of mental health/social service providers, educators, survivors, law enforcement, veteran’s advocates, and concerned citizens working together to increase suicide awareness and prevention in Weber County. Spearheaded by Intermountain McKay-Dee Hospital, the task force provides suicide prevention training to local students and community members, holds an annual suicide awareness walk, and works with survivors to facilitate healing and remembrance of those they have lost. Membership, involvement, and participation is open to all residents, community groups, or others with a concern about suicide.

‘Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work; you don’t give up.” Anne Lamott

Lunch will be catered by Hug-Hess: Salad w/ choice of dressing, bread and butter, fruit, lasagna, dessert.

Register for $20 a person.
