With degrees in speech communications and political science, and an advanced degree in public administration, Alex has been able to refine his communication skills across various levels—personal, corporate, statewide, and nationwide—ranging from micro to macro perspectives. As Regional Director of Recruiting for a business college, his ability to build strong relationships with high school educators and counselors contributed to his region leading in referrals and recruitments. Alex then dedicated 27 years serving as Director of Public Relations for an organ procurement organization. Under his leadership, the organization consistently ranked among the top five nationally in the percentage of registered organ, eye, and tissue donors. Alex developed a speakers’ program that reached over 70,000 students annually, as well as working alongside legislators in Utah and Idaho to draft and pass legislation aimed at increasing awareness about organ donation.
