About Us
The Rosie Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the economic mobility of military spouses through career training, professional development, and community support. Frequent moves and unpredictable schedules often limit employment opportunities for military spouses. The Rosie Project addresses this by partnering with employers, training providers, and community organizations to build clear pathways from education to meaningful employment.
Our program uses a cohort-based model focused on industry certifications, workplace readiness, and mentorship. Participants gain technical and professional skills while becoming part of a supportive peer network that continues beyond graduation. We work directly with corporate and public sector partners to create internship, mentorship, and job placement opportunities aligned with in demand career fields.
The Rosie Project currently operates programs in Utah, Ohio, and Georgia, with plans to expand to additional regions and international military communities. Our outcomes demonstrate strong impact, with more than 90 percent of participants completing training, 80 percent earning certification, and 60 percent securing career employment within six to twelve months. These new careers strengthen families, support local economies, and ensure military spouses are recognized as skilled, adaptable, and valuable contributors to the workforce.
