About Us

The Weber-Morgan Children's Justice Center (CJC) was first established in Ogden in 1991. We were originally founded to help children, birth to 18, who were victims of sexual or physical abuse. Today, the demand for our services has grown to include children impacted by other serious situations, such as domestic violence, drug endangerment, and internet exploitation.

We recently moved into our new facility at 1845 Jackson Ave., which is the fourth location we have operated in, and we began offering services here in May 2025. This new center was specifically designed to support child victims involved in investigations of child abuse. Our main goal is to provide a comfortable, child-friendly environment that helps minimize the stress and potential secondary trauma for children during the abuse investigation process.

Highlights

  • The CJC is designed to make children feel comfortable & safe when they are meeting with investigators & team members.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Team Investigation: Professionals from several different agencies collaborate on each child's case.
  • Specially trained professionals talk to children about the alleged abuse they have experienced.
  • The CJC has an on-site examination room which houses medical professionals from Primary Children's Hospital's.
  • The CJC provides abused children & their families referrals for support services such as therapy & victim resources.
