ByTheTon delivers bulk landscape and construction material across northern Utah — road base, gravel, landscape rock, pea gravel, topsoil, sand, and mulch, sold by the ton and delivered to your address.

We built ByTheTon around a problem every homeowner and contractor in this valley knows: nobody will tell you what a load costs without a phone call, a voicemail, and a two-day wait for a callback. Our pricing is online. Enter your delivery address, pick your material, and see the full delivered price — material, haul, and sales tax included — in about thirty seconds. No quote request, no callback, no surprises at the curb.

We serve homeowners putting in driveways, RV pads, and park strip conversions, and contractors who need a real number while they're still standing in a customer's yard writing a bid. Our free material calculator sizes any project — rectangles, circles, trenches, or several areas at once — and converts it to tons using each material's actual density, because a ton of mulch and a ton of road base cover very different ground.

ByTheTon operates throughout Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Tooele counties, working with local pits to keep hauls short and prices honest. We're a DBA of Dirt Dragon LLC, a tractor-based grading and land preparation company based in Syracuse.
