The Giving Machine will be located at Christmas Village in the Ogden Amphitheater.\n\n\n\nSponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\, these reverse "vending machines" let donors purchase specific items\, clothing\, baby and hygiene supplies\, meals\, medical needs\, and even livestock like chickens\, for people in need. Items range from $5 to $170. 100% of every donation goes directly to participating nonprofits. Since 2017\, more than two million visitors have donated over $44 million in goods and services.\n\n \n\nLocal nonprofit beneficiaries:\n\n\n Catholic Community Services\n Davis Education Foundation\n Family Promise of Ogden\n Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership (OWCAP)\n United Way of Northern Utah\n\n\nParticipants can also take the "777 Challenge" by donating one of every item in the machine.
