DESCRIPTION:The Legislative Affairs Committee represents the broad interests of organizations throughout Weber county and takes positions on current legislation\, as well as advances legislation\, that impacts the community.\n\n\n\nMembers of the committee represent small and large businesses\, utilities\, county and municipal governments\, transportation and healthcare organizations\, K-12 and higher education organizations\, and nonprofits. Together these organizations come together to discuss legislation important to business\, education\, and our community. Through this committee\, businesses (the pre-cursers to and effects of) have a greater voice in public policy.\n\n\n\nYou must be a member of the Ogden-Weber Chamber to become a member of the Legislative Affairs Committee. Core members may join by paying an additional $200 annual fee. Certain partner level benefits may cover the cost of membership on the committee.
