There is something for all skill levels from those hitting the slopes to those staying warm by the fire and in the lodge.\n\n\n\nAbout the Host\nIn the year 1968\, a small ski area in the heart of Utah's powder country was born. Nordic Valley is nestled deep in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains\, however\, it is just a few short miles from the restaurants\, entertainment and comforts of the booming town of Ogden. Named by Forbes magazine as the third best city in the country to raise a family\, Ogden and the Ogden Valley is one of the most accessible\, family centered\, and budget friendly ski areas in the country.\n\nNordic Valley is famous for its ski school\, intermediate and advanced slopes\, and family friendly atmosphere. Leading up to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games\, the Austrian downhill skiers used our mountain as a training venue before their events. The slopes of Nordic Valley proved lucky as they went on to win numerous medals including Fritz Strobl's impressive winning time of 1:39:13 on the Men's Grizzly Downhill.
